July 2021
Tepeson comes from a family of eight children. Her father was a watchman until he was bitten by a cobra and became disabled. He has diminished his small herd of cattle to pay for food and school fees for his children. He very much believes in educating all of his children, but most of his money has been spent on the older children, leaving very little for Tepeson. Tepeson is living with her 90 year old grandmother to be closer to the local school. Her father fears he will no longer be able to pay her school fees so he went to the local MGEF Board member to see if there was a chance for a scholarship for Tepeson. She was accepted in 2021 to start Term 1 in July of 2021. She is a very ambitious student and is very happy to be able to continue her studies.
