Rebecca is a 15 year old girl, who comes from a family of 3 children. Her father past away and her mother supports the family with casual odd jobs. Rebecca’s mother struggles to put food on the table and cannot afford to send her children to school. She believes in Rebecca and found well wishers to support her through Form 1 (9th grade). She was unable to raise the funds this year. Rebecca heard about MGEF and decided to contact the local board member. She was accepted and now attends schools with no fear of being sent home due to lack of school fees. Rebecca loves school and dreams of becoming a doctor.
