Lilian is a five year old girl, who comes form a family of five children. Her father is a sand harvester and her mother is a housewife. Unfortunately, Lilian’s father is an alcoholic and spends his wages on alcohol. Her mother wakes up every morning and collects firewood and then she goes to her neighbors to beg for food for the children. Her brother dropped out of school after Class 8 due to lack of school fees. Her eldest sister is in high school thanks to a well wisher. Lilian and her younger brother do not attend school and her other sister Jackline is deceased. Lilian is a smart and good little girl, who dreams of going to school. Lilian’s mother contacted the local MGEF board member, who helped her fill out an application. Lilian was accepted and started PP1 (Kindergarten) January 2024.
