Joyline is an only child. Her mother became pregnant in Form 3 (11th grade). She had hoped to return to school, but she was not able to. The father disappeared and is of no financial help at all. Joyline and her mother live at her grandfather’s small home along with her mother’s three siblings. The entire household depends on Joyline’s mother to support them with her house keeping job. Joyline’s mother cannot afford to send her to school. She was very determined to find a way to send Joyline to school. She discovered MGEF and immediately found the local board member. Joyline was accepted into the scholarship program in January 2025. She is a very happy little girl who loves school.
