Esther is a fourteen year old girl, who comes from a family of four children. Her father and mother struggle to put food on the table. Both of her parents believe in education. With the help of well wishers and her mother’s occasional odd job, Esther has managed to make it through Class 6 (6th grade). Her brother had to drop out of Class 7 due to lack of school fees and Esther feared the same would happen to her this year. Her parents contacted the local MGEF board member, who helped them fill out an application. Esther is very excited to start Term 1 this January with no worries of being sent home due to unpaid school fees.
