Debora is an eight-year-old girl who comes from a family of five children. Both of her parents received a primary school education only. They are farmers, but due to the droughts, they struggle to make ends meet. Often, children are sent home due to lack of school fees, and sometimes there is no food. Debora loves school and dreams of an education. The family was told to contact a local MGEF board member. The board member helped them fill out an application and Debora was accepted in January 2026. Now she can attend school without any worries of being sent home.
