Abigael is a 13 year old girl, who comes from a family of seven children. Both of her parents believe in education and have managed, with the help of well wisher, to put their children to school. The two eldest children were able to graduate from secondary school, but they were unable to afford the cost of a post secondary education. Unfortunately, the family was hit hard by the drought and now struggle to put food on the table. Abigael feared she would not be able to join secondary school due to lack of school fees. Her parents contacted the local MGEF board member. Abigael was accepted into the program and started Form 1 (9th grade) this January 2024. She is very excited that she will be able to continue her dream of an education.
