Grace is a 15 year girl with five siblings. Her father is nowhere to be found and her mother passed away from throat cancer. The six children live with their aunt. They depend on local well wishers to support their education. This has become too much of a burden and the children are sent home often from lack of school fees. Grace is a good student, who dreams of an education. If she is unable to go to school, this puts her in danger of an arranged early marriage. The local MGEF Board member was informed of the families struggles and she met with Grace. Grace was accepted to the MGEF Scholarship program for Term 1 of 2022. She is so happy to be able to continue her education.
