Faith is a 13 year old who comes from a family of six. Both of her parents strongly believe in educating their children. Neither of Faith’s parents are employed, so they survive on odd jobs. Still, they have managed to send all four children to school. Due to the pandemic, there has been less and less work. It has become increasingly difficult for Faith’s parents to send their children to school. Faith is very bright and excels in school. She worries that she will not be able to continue with her education due to lack of school fees. Though her parents try their best, they cannot get ahead. Faith’s parents contacted the local MGEF Board member to see if she could apply for a scholarship. Faith applied and she was accepted into MGEF’s Scholarship Program for Term 1 of 2022. Now she can concentrate on her studies.
