Faith is a 19 year old girl, who is desperate to learn. Her father, who has two wives and 11 children, does not believe in educating girls, but her mother pleaded with him to send Faith to school. Faith was able to attend school on and off until class 6 (6th grade), when her father said he could no longer afford school fees. Her uncle came to the rescue for a couple of years, but eventually said he could no longer afford to send her to school either. Faith came to MGEF asking for help and was accepted to the scholarship program in 2017. Faith is a very ambitious student, and is so happy to be able to concentrate on her studies, and not worry about being sent home due to lack of school fees.
